About me
I am a PhD in Tourism and an international consultant specialized in sustainable tourism and strategic development of tourism destinations and companies. For more than 20 years I have been accompanying organizations and professionals who want to evolve towards innovative, more conscious, sustainable and resilient management models. Throughout my career I have developed and collaborated in projects in Spain, Costa Rica and other countries in Europe and America, convinced that tourism is a real lever for social, economic and environmental transformation and a powerful tool to generate positive impacts on people, communities and the territory.
I have had the opportunity to develop my entrepreneurial profile and my passion for creating and developing projects with my commitment to research and the academic and university environment, something that allows me to bring a practical and at the same time rigorous vision to the projects we develop.
At the same time, I teach in graduate programs in Spain and Costa Rica, where I am fortunate to share experiences and learn alongside professionals who also believe in a more humane, prosperous, sustainable and competitive tourism. I also participate in conferences and academic research on trends, strategic marketing, sustainability with eco-friendly values and new forms of collaborative governance between public and private actors focused on the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations.
I deeply believe that prosperity is compatible with social and environmental commitment, and that another tourism is possible if we work collaboratively, strategically and with the same shared vision on the horizon, always putting wellbeing at the center of corporate and governance decision-making.
